Caregiver

About This Role

Provide hands-on care, physical, and emotional support to residents in an assisted living community. Maintain a safe and comfortable environment while assisting with daily living activities to promote independence and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of resident’s room and work areas
• Help residents maintain independence and promote dignity and physical safety
• Participate and assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating)
• Engage residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• Ability to communicate effectively with Residents, management and co-workers
• Superior customer service skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred

Nice to Have

• Certified Nurse’s Aid certification
• Previous experience working with seniors
