Caregiver

About This Role

This role involves providing community-based services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them grow, learn, and live well. The caregiver will develop meaningful relationships and support participants in achieving developmental goals and engaging in community activities.

Responsibilities

• Help individuals grow, learn, and live well
• Develop meaningful relationships with the individuals served
• Help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities
• Support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
• Assist people with their personal hygiene
• Support individuals who can have behavioral challenges and other complex needs

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's license
• Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
