About This Role

This Caregiver role at Sevita focuses on providing in-home and community-based support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The position involves forming meaningful relationships, assisting with daily living, and helping participants achieve developmental goals, ensuring they live well and independently.

Responsibilities

• Help individuals grow, learn, and live well
• Develop meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve
• Help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities
• Support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
• Assist people with personal hygiene
• Support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred

Nice to Have
