Caregiver

About This Role

Provide compassionate in-home care to seniors, assisting with daily activities, medication management, and companionship to improve their quality of life. This role involves making a significant difference in the lives of clients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Engage in meaningful conversations and provide emotional support to seniors
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance
• Assist clients with medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed medication schedules
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals based on dietary requirements and preferences
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment for the senior
• Assist with transportation to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and other essential outings
• Observe and report any changes in the senior's health or behavior to appropriate healthcare professionals or family members
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of care provided and any significant changes in the client's condition
• Have fun and engaging conversations with clients to build relationships
• Participate in clients’ favorite hobbies (scrapbooking, gardening, games, etc.)

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation
• Willingness to work in homes with pets (cats and/or dogs)
• Passion about helping others
• Enjoy customer service and communicating with clients

Qualifications

• 1 year of CNA/NA/PCA experience preferred

Nice to Have

• 1 year of CNA/NA/PCA experience
