About This Role

Provide direct hands-on care and support to residents, helping them maintain independence and dignity within a safe and comfortable home-like environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of resident’s room and work areas
• Help residents maintain independence, promoting dignity and physical safety of each resident
• Participate and assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating)
• Engage residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, management and co-workers
• Superior customer service skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred

Nice to Have

• Certified Nurse’s Aid (CNA) certification
• Previous experience working with seniors
