Caregiver

About This Role

Provide direct hands-on care and emotional support to senior residents, promoting their independence and ensuring a safe, comfortable home-like environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of resident's rooms and work areas
• Help residents maintain independence and dignity
• Provide physical safety for each resident
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (i.e., bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating)
• Engage residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• Ability to communicate effectively with Residents, management and co-workers
• Superior customer service skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED

Nice to Have

• Certified Nurse’s Aid certification
• Previous experience working with seniors
