Caregiver

About This Role

Provide compassionate and dedicated support to clients in the Lantana, TX area by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their well-being, focusing on geriatric patients. This part-time role offers flexible 4-hour shifts and contributes to improving clients' quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support and care to individuals, including personal hygiene assistance, meal preparation, and medication administration
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and organizing living spaces
• Specialize in providing care and appropriate support to individuals with Geriatric patients
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Work with individuals that have various needs, providing support and guidance

Requirements

• Knowledge of resident rights and the ability to advocate for clients' needs
• Proficient in medication reminder and adherence to prescribed schedules
• Ability to provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or memory impairments
• Strong understanding of ADLs and the ability to assist clients accordingly

Qualifications

• Direct support experience in a caregiving or similar role is preferred.
