The Cardiac Invasive Technologist performs an average of 1500 Cath Lab cases annually, including a variety of procedures such as right and left heart catheters, PCI, pacemakers, and vascular procedures. This role is crucial for delivering exceptional patient-centered care and achieving efficient door-to-balloon times within a level 1 Stemi-Center.
Responsibilities
- Perform right and left heart catheters, PCI, pacemakers, ICDs, Impella insertion, IABP insertion, vascular procedures, and loop recorder insertion
- Participate in a four-person call team, including one night per week and one weekend per month (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
- Collaborate with the Magic Valley team to achieve the best door-to-balloon times in the state
- Work seamlessly with the team to provide exceptional patient care in a level 1 Stemi-Center
Requirements
- Current certification in RCIS, RCES, RCVT, ARRT, or CEPS
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree, or 2 years additional relevant related experience in lieu of Associate's Degree
