Campervan Mechanic

About This Role

Maintain Indie Campers' fleet of campervans to the highest standards, ensuring efficient operation and customer satisfaction. This role involves performing inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, heating, and water systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct systematic inspection to vehicles and diagnose problems on vehicles’ mechanical, electrical, heating, and water systems
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on campervans and motorhomes
• Execute light bodywork repairs that involve spare parts replacement (lightbulbs, windows, side mirrors)
• Perform campervan spare parts substitution and repairs
• Troubleshoot and repair campervan appliances
• Maintain and develop relationships with external partners and coordinate vehicle interventions
• Keep all vehicle information systems updated according to established procedures
• Move campervans to and from local vendors, parking facilities, or other depots
• Maintain depot equipment and spare parts organized and clean, and keep inventory systems updated
• Assist with daily depot operations including preparing vehicles for customers, handling reservations, check-ins, and check-outs
• Receive and collect shipments and supplies, organize them in storage, and register item consumption and new orders

Requirements

• Education or certified training in mechanics, mechatronics technical or a similar program in the automotive industry
• At least 1+ years of experience with hands-on mechanical and electrical repairs
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Available to work weekends and holidays
• Valid Driver’s License
• English proficiency and good communication skills

Qualifications

• Education or certified training in mechanics, mechatronics technical or a similar program in the automotive industry. High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1+ years of experience with hands-on mechanical and electrical repairs; experience in campervans is a plus.
