About This Role

Provide technical support and operate as the primary company representative for the C-40 program at Scott Air Force Base. This role involves managing parts, inventory control, and fostering strong customer relationships to ensure efficient logistics support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide product support to the US Air Force (USAF) under a Support Contract for the C-40 program
  • Manage parts covered by the Contract, including inventory control, stock management, packaging, and transportation
  • Handle import and export documentation control
  • Develop an understanding of the customer's culture and business strategies
  • Create, maintain and advance customer relationships
  • Perform analysis of information from multiple sources to determine accuracy relative to delivery schedules, inventories levels, and requirements
  • Maintain and update parts data using Boeing information systems
  • Qualify and operate a forklift (training provided)
  • Monitor Boeing and Customer operational obligations in accordance with the Contract SOW
  • Aggregate and review required company reports for USAF performance reports
  • Track and monitor aircraft repairable parts returned by the customer/suppliers
  • Identify and resolve contractual customers' inventory discrepancies in coordination with the USAF
  • Follow up with freight forwarder on documentation and arrival/dispatch of parts
  • Prepare special documents for hazardous materials approvals
  • Research, identify and resolve customer supply support system inventory discrepancies
  • Investigate total platform vehicle demand management, replenishment and electronic data systems
  • Monitor logistics system performance
  • Solicit customer feedback and take action to improve satisfaction with company services
  • Manage field office resources

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with inventory management or supply chain management processes and techniques
  • Experienced in use and application of Microsoft Suite
  • Flexibility to work morning/evening/night/weekend/holiday shifts
  • Willing and able to deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international)
  • Willing and able to relocate to a variety of locations (domestic and international)
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with inventory management or supply chain management processes and techniques

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience executing Very Important Person aircraft mission requirements
  • Working knowledge of GOLD or other ERP/MRP Systems (SAP, etc.)
  • Previous experience reading and interpreting Technical Publications of aircraft maintenance and parts manuals, engineering drawings
