As a Business Sales Account Manager, you will deliver innovative business solutions to clients, focusing on technology evolution and connectivity. This role involves prospecting new business, growing existing accounts, and recommending tailored solutions to drive revenue for Verizon.
Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and qualify leads within a designated territory through cold-calling, partner-selling, and social selling techniques.
- Achieve new business and incremental revenue targets.
- Retain, manage, and grow the existing customer base.
- Coordinate with support partners to educate customers on innovative business solutions.
- Establish, build, and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
- Present and create multi-product solution opportunities.
- Demonstrate knowledgeable understanding of wireless, mobility products, and integrated software solutions including Cloud, Security, ISP, VoIP, and Google platforms.
- Track and report progress using sales force automation tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience
- Four or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience
- Experience in outside sales, prospecting and negotiation
- Willingness to work in a mobile working model with up to 50% travel
- Valid driver’s license

- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree or certifications/college courses
- Two or more years of business-to-business or outside sales experience, including business acquisition and prospecting/cold calling
- Technology sales and educational experience (e.g., SaaS sales experience, CRM, Salesforce, social media)
- Strong presentation skills in face-to-face and virtual environments
- Experience in building and maintaining business relationships with all levels of client organizations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed, entrepreneurial environment
- Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
- Ability to implement feedback and tailor approach for success
