About This Role

Manage and grow existing accounts and acquire new business for Verizon's business solutions, leveraging sales experience and technology excitement to deliver innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop and qualify leads within assigned territory through cold-calling, partner-selling, lead-generation campaigns, and social selling techniques
  • Gain new business and incremental revenue to meet sales targets
  • Retain, manage and grow the existing customer base
  • Coordinate with support partners to educate and excite customers about innovative business solutions
  • Proactively establish, build and maintain relationships with key decision makers
  • Effectively present and create multi-product solution opportunities
  • Confidently demonstrate a knowledgeable understanding of wireless and mobility products and integrated software solutions
  • Promote and position products including Cloud, Security, ISP, VoIP and Google platforms
  • Track and report progress through consistent use of sales force automation tools

Requirements

  • 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience in outside sales, prospecting and negotiation
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within assigned geographic sales territory
  • Valid driver’s license

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience
  • Four or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience; including experience in outside sales, prospecting and negotiation.

Nice to Have

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree or certifications/college courses
  • 2+ years of business-to-business or outside sales experience, including business acquisition and prospecting/cold calling
  • Technology sales and educational experience (e.g., SaaS sales experience, CRM, SalesForce or other client management tools, social media)
  • Strong presentation skills in face-to-face and virtual environments
  • Experience in building and maintaining business relationships with all levels of client organizations
