This role involves hunting and prospecting for new business and growing existing accounts by consulting with customers to identify business challenges and recommend tailored solutions. The Business Sales Account Executive will manage their time efficiently and use excellent customer relations skills to deliver innovative business solutions.
Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and qualify leads within respective territory through cold-calling, partner-selling, lead-generation campaigns, and social selling techniques
- Gain new business and incremental revenue to meet sales targets
- Retain, manage, and grow the existing customer base
- Coordinate with support partners to educate and excite customers about leveraging innovative business solutions
- Proactively establish, build, and maintain relationships with key decision makers
- Effectively present and create multi-product solution opportunities
- Confidently demonstrate a knowledgeable understanding of wireless, mobility products, and integrated software solutions (Cloud, Security, ISP, VoIP, Google platforms)
- Track and report progress through consistent use of sales force automation tools
Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant experience (work and/or military)
- Experience in outside sales, prospecting, and negotiation
- Willingness to travel up to approximately 50% within assigned geographic sales territory
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience
- Four or more years of relevant experience, including outside sales, prospecting, and negotiation
Nice to Have
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree or certifications/college courses
- 2+ years of business-to-business or outside sales experience, including business acquisition and prospecting/cold calling
- Technology sales and educational experience (e.g., SaaS sales, CRM, Salesforce)
- Strong presentation skills in face-to-face and virtual environments
- Experience in building and maintaining business relationships with all levels of client organizations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed, entrepreneurial environment
- Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
- Ability to implement feedback and tailor approach for success
