This role involves driving new business and retaining existing customer accounts by identifying business challenges and recommending tailored technology solutions. The Account Executive will focus on delivering innovative solutions that support technological evolution and enhance business connectivity.
Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and qualify leads within a designated territory through cold-calling, partner-selling, lead-generation campaigns, and modern social selling techniques
- Gain new business and incremental revenue to meet sales targets
- Retain, manage, and grow the existing customer base
- Coordinate with support partners to educate customers on innovative business solutions
- Proactively establish, build, and maintain relationships with key decision makers
- Effectively present and create multi-product solution opportunities
- Confidently demonstrate knowledge of wireless and mobility products and integrated software solutions including Cloud, Security, ISP, VoIP, and Google platforms
- Track and report progress using sales force automation tools
Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant experience (work and/or military)
- Experience in outside sales, prospecting and negotiation
- Willingness to travel up to 50% within assigned geographic sales territory
- Valid driver’s license
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience
- Four or more years of relevant experience, including outside sales, prospecting, and negotiation
Nice to Have
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree or certifications/college courses
- 2+ years of business-to-business or outside sales experience, including business acquisition and prospecting/cold calling
- Technology sales and educational experience (SaaS sales, CRM, SalesForce, social media)
- Strong presentation skills in face-to-face and virtual environments
- Experience in building and maintaining business relationships with all levels of client organizations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed, entrepreneurial environment
- Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
- Ability to implement feedback and tailor approach for success
