About This Role

As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you will join the Workforce Solutions organization in PXT at Amazon to analyze large datasets using Generative AI and intelligent agents. You will uncover hidden patterns, emerge business opportunities and translate complex insights into actionable business recommendations. Your role will involve developing AI-powered dashboards to tell compelling stories through data visualization.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and translate business requirements into scalable solutions that work well within the overall data architecture.
  • Design, develop and establish KPIs to monitor analysis and provide strategic insights to drive growth and performance of our products.
  • Work with large data sets, automate data extraction, and build monitoring/reporting dashboards and high-value, self-service automated BI solutions.
  • Report key insight trends, using statistical rigor to simplify and inform the larger team of noteworthy story lines that impact the business.
  • Collaborate with date engineering and product management team to develop solutions that utilize the highest standards of analytical rigor and data integrity.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
  • Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse
  • Scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
  • Experience in data mining, ETL, and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
  • Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
