About This Role

Drive new client acquisition and expand relationships for SpectrumCareers by owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals. This role requires expertise in relationship-based selling within staffing, consulting, or professional services.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and develop new client relationships across target industries
  • Own the full sales lifecycle: outreach, discovery, proposal, negotiation, and close
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Partner with recruiting and delivery teams to align client needs with talent solutions
  • Conduct client meetings to understand hiring needs, timelines, and budget
  • Position staffing and recruiting solutions including contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire
  • Track activity and pipeline in CRM and provide regular forecasting updates
  • Attend industry events, networking functions, and client meetings as needed
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets

Requirements

  • 3+ years of business development experience in staffing, recruiting, consulting, or professional services
  • Proven track record of generating new business and closing deals
  • Experience selling relationship-based or consultative services
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally
  • Comfortable with cold outreach, networking, and client-facing conversations

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of business development experience in staffing, recruiting, consulting, or professional services

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience selling staffing or recruiting services
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems / CRM Systems
  • Experience working with mid-market or enterprise clients
  • Understanding of talent acquisition, hiring processes, and workforce planning
