MTC Training is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth in the North East by identifying new business opportunities and fostering relationships with employers and stakeholders. The role focuses on shaping tailored training solutions to impact the modern workforce.
Responsibilities
- Develop a pipeline of training and apprenticeship opportunities in the region
- Build and maintain relationships with employers and industry partners
- Conduct market research to identify trends and growth areas
- Create and implement strategic plans to meet business development targets
- Represent MTC Training at industry events and networking forums
- Deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development or sales within training or education
- Strong knowledge of apprenticeships and workforce development
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
