Drive business development initiatives for key accounts within the children’s fashion sector, focusing on the US and Latin American markets. The role involves developing strategies to enhance market reach and relationships with major retail partners.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance business development for key retail accounts in the U.S.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with major department stores and specialty retailers
- Identify and secure new wholesale partnerships to broaden market distribution
- Negotiate terms, including pricing and promotion strategies, to achieve target margins
- Collaborate with internal teams across marketing, merchandising, and customer service to ensure aligned business goals
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to capitalize on new opportunities
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in sales or business development within the fashion industry, specifically for children’s brands
- Robust network in the U.S. retail market, particularly with department stores and specialty retailers
- Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in retail mathematics
- Fluency in English
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or business development within the fashion industry, specifically for children’s brands.
Nice to Have
- Additional language proficiency in Spanish or French
