About This Role

Manage and grow customer relationships for Airbus Space Products & Entities, focusing on business development and strategic planning in the U.S. and Canada. Represent U.S. government and space customer needs to shape business development initiatives and support successful contract acquisitions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer relationships for existing and potential commercial and institutional customers
  • Assist Airbus Space Products & entities in understanding customer requirements and proposal preparation
  • Provide information on program/procurement schedules, winning factors, customer decision-making processes, budget planning, and competing products
  • Represent U.S. government and space customer needs in shaping business development and campaign initiatives
  • Participate in exhibitions and events to present products and develop Airbus Space Products business
  • Support U.S. customer communications relating to ongoing programs
  • Establish and implement annual sales objectives and plans for relevant products in the U.S. and Canada
  • Identify sales and marketing opportunities (RFPs) and support successful contract signatures
  • Formulate sound recommendations concerning bid strategies
  • Support campaigns, matching products and services to needs
  • Identify potential partners in the U.S. & Canada to improve market access
  • Perform systematic market analyses and identify technological and commercial trends
  • Understand U.S. Government (USG) requirements and decision-making processes, communicating funding appropriation and budget planning
  • Lead cross-functional teams in creating and implementing strategy to build Space Products business in the U.S.
  • Provide recommendations to improve market positioning of products for competitive advantages

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 15+ years experience in the Space Industry
  • Proficiency in English

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 15+ years experience in the Space Industry, preferably with an Engineering/Programs/Business Development background
