Business Analyst - Varicent

About This Role

This role involves analyzing, designing, and delivering incentive compensation solutions, working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams. The Business Analyst will translate compensation requirements into documented, scalable, and accurate Varicent solutions, while also supporting reporting and analytics needs.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to sales incentive compensation processes
• Analyze current compensation workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, compensation teams, and technical/configuration teams
• Support solution design, functional testing, UAT, and ensure accurate delivery of Varicent configurations
• Prepare and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for compensation tracking and analysis
• Support change management activities, including documentation, training support, and stakeholder communication
• Work in an Agile environment, managing requirements and tasks using JIRA

Requirements

• Strong experience in requirements gathering and documentation
• Solid understanding of sales compensation and incentive management processes
• Hands-on experience or foundational knowledge of Varicent workflows
• Strong data analysis skills using Excel and SQL
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with tools like JIRA
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
