This role is for a detail-oriented Business Analyst who will collaborate with various teams to gather requirements, define user stories, and ensure successful delivery of full-stack solutions. The position requires strong domain knowledge in banking and financial services, coupled with technical fluency to effectively work with engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and technical teams to evoke, analyze, and document business requirements
- Translate business needs into detailed functional and non-functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Work closely with full-stack development teams (Java, .NET, ReactJS) to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with business goals
- Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups in Agile Scrum environments
- Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and root cause analysis for banking applications
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by defining test scenarios and coordinating with QA teams
- Maintain traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle
- Act as a bridge between business and technology, ensuring clear communication
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the Banking or Financial Services domain
- Knowledge of banking products, regulatory requirements, and digital transformation initiatives
- Familiarity with Java, .NET, ASP.NET, ReactJS and full stack architecture
- Experience working in Agile Scrum teams
- Excellent documentation skills using tools like JIRA, Confluence, and MS Office Suite
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the Banking or Financial Services domain
Nice to Have
- Experience with APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Certifications like CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile BA
