Business Account Executive

About This Role

Sell internet, voice, and video services to small businesses by generating leads and prospecting within a defined sales territory. This role involves establishing market presence and utilizing a consultative methodology to align products with client needs.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales and product targets by generating leads and prospecting within a defined sales territory
• Establish presence within the market/territory and stay updated on trends and competitor activities
• Determine client needs using a consultative methodology and present aligned product/services
• Sell secondary services including custom hosting, desktop security, data security, and storage
• Work closely with an Account Coordinator for additional sales support
• Maintain real-time accurate records of all sales and prospecting activity through Salesforce

Requirements

• Ability to effectively manage sales and administrative tasks
• Ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge
• Demonstrated verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Driven, professional, and determined character
• Reliable personal vehicle and car insurance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field, or equivalent years of experience
• 2+ years of sales experience (or 2+ years telecom/technical industry experience)

Nice to Have

• Outside sales experience in telecom, tech or a related field
• Experience utilizing CRM systems (Salesforce)
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
