As a Biomedical Services Specialist, you will be trained to repair and service dialysis machines, ensuring they are operational to deliver life-sustaining treatments to patients. You will join a team that values work-life balance and prioritizes professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Repair and regularly service dialysis machines
- Perform diagnostics and troubleshoot mechanical and electronic issues
- Communicate openly and frequently with teammates
- Utilize MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and DaVita-specific tools
- Participate in on-call rotations to meet clinic needs
Requirements
- High School Diploma (GED) accredited
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid automobile insurance
- Acceptable driving record
- Reside in close proximity to clinics/hospitals in the Birmingham, AL area
- Mechanical abilities or demonstrated aptitude for repairs and diagnostics
- Strong electronics knowledge or demonstrated aptitude
- Great communication skills
- Tech-savvy, able to troubleshoot with ease
- Solid computer skills (MS Office applications, internet navigation)
