About This Role

This Billing Specialist role involves accurate billing for various healthcare facilities, including Nursing Homes, Assisted Living, Group Homes, and Private Pay statements. The specialist ensures the seamless delivery of pharmacy solutions through precision and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Billing 3rd party payers online (Medicaid, Commercial Insurance, and Medicare D plans)
Monthly Billing of Nursing Home invoices and Private Pay statements
Re-billing accounts as necessary
Handling phone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy
Assisting in Hospice Account setup

Requirements

High School graduate or equivalency
Excellent customer services skills
Proficiency in typing and computer usage
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines

Qualifications

High School graduate or equivalency
3-5 years of Medical Billing experience is preferred

Nice to Have

3-5 years of Medical Billing experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Familiarity with medical terminology
