Behavioral Technician (Weekend Days)

About This Role

This role provides essential support to adults with behavioral health needs in a residential setting, focusing on daily living skills and behavior management. The position helps individuals achieve greater independence within a safe and encouraging environment.

Responsibilities

• Support residents in building life skills, routines, and social behaviors
• Assist with rehabilitation and behavior support programs
• Monitor and document changes in behavior, mood, or physical condition
• Provide basic care, such as taking vital signs and assisting with personal needs
• Administer medication once certified as a Level 1 Medication Aide
• Transport clients to appointments and community activities
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive living environment
• Participate in emergency response and safety procedures
• Complete documentation accurately and on time

Requirements

• High School/GED
• One year of work experience or self-employment
• Valid unrestricted driver's license
• Ability to obtain and maintain a class E MO driver's license within 60 days
• Basic computer skills

Qualifications

• High School/GED required
• At least one (1) year of work experience or self-employment required

Nice to Have

• Experience as a CNA or CMA
• Ability to work weekend days
