Behavior Technician

About This Role

Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children diagnosed with Autism, focusing on skill acquisition and behavior programs. This role involves working collaboratively with other specialties in an ethically grounded environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ABA services to children ages 6-22 diagnosed with Autism
• Implement skill acquisition and behavior programs
• Conduct electronic data collection (using Catalyst)
• Work collaboratively with other specialties such as SLPs, OTs, and Special Education Teachers
• Be willing to use restraint and hold techniques learned via SOLVE training received upon hire
• Be able to lift 60 lbs
• Be able to address basic needs such as feeding, diapering, toileting, and dressing
• Be able to work on a computer or be on your feet for extended periods of time

Requirements

• Enjoy working with children ages 6-22 years old
• Punctual, reliable, and desire to learn
• Interest in Applied Behavior Analysis, psychology, human services, special education, social work, childcare or a related field
• Ability to submit a transcript

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, high school diploma considered

Nice to Have

• Bachelor degree or working towards one
• Experience working as a babysitter, nanny, paraprofessional, tutor, camp counselor, or coach
