Implement individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment plans for children and their families, providing direct support in home settings or community-based activities to help clients achieve meaningful progress and greater independence.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized ABA treatment plans
- Deliver direct support to children and their families in home settings or community-based activities
- Assist children in building foundational skills such as communication, social engagement, and daily living abilities
- Implement research-supported interventions to reduce behaviors impacting safety or independence
- Promote positive skill development
- Maintain consistent availability for client sessions
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Dependable transportation
- Active car insurance listing the technician on the policy
- Ability to successfully complete a livescan background check
- Proof of a negative TB test
- Reliability
- Patience
- Commitment to supporting clients
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to collaborate within a team-based environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 90 days of ABA experience or relevant academic coursework in psychology, education, social work, or similar areas
Nice to Have
- Bilingual in Spanish
- 90 days of ABA experience
- Academic coursework in psychology, education, social work, or similar areas
- Strong communication skills
