Bar Back

About This Role

Barcadia Bar & Grill is seeking a proactive Bar Back to support bartenders by maintaining inventory, restocking supplies, and ensuring the bar area is clean and organized. This role requires constant awareness of bar needs to prevent shortages.

Responsibilities

• Fill and maintain ice wells for bartenders
• Restock beer and liquor as needed
• Change kegs
• Prep, store, rotate, and stock all garnishes for bartenders
• Maintain cleanliness behind bars both during and after service
• Restock and organize beer coolers

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift 50 lbs., and bend, climb or work in confined spaces
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
• Organizational and time management skills
• Good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
