Bar Back

About This Role

The Bar Back is responsible for supporting bartenders by maintaining ice, restocking beverages, and preparing garnishes, ensuring smooth bar operations and anticipating needs proactively.

Responsibilities

• Fill and maintain ice wells for bartenders
• Restock beer and liquor as needed
• Change kegs
• Prep, store, rotate, and stock all garnishes for bartenders
• Anticipate bar needs and proactively replenish supplies before they run out
• Maintain cleanliness behind bars both during and after service
• Restock and organize beer coolers

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift 50 lbs., and bend, climb or work in confined spaces
