Bar Back

About This Role

Support bartenders by ensuring the bar is fully stocked with ice, beer, liquor, and garnishes, maintaining awareness of inventory needs, and assisting with bar cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Fill and maintain ice wells for bartenders
• Restock beer and liquor as needed
• Change kegs
• Prep, store, rotate, and stock all garnishes for bartenders
• Anticipate bartender needs for supplies before they run out
• Help maintain cleanliness behind bars both during and after service
• Restock and organize beer coolers

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to bend, climb or work in confined spaces
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills

Qualifications
