Lead the banquet team in setting up, serving, and tidying up banquet events, ensuring they run smoothly and guests have an excellent experience.
Responsibilities
- Approach every guest and team member with a positive attitude
- Maintain high attendance standards and adhere to scheduling needs
- Wear uniform and name tag according to brand guidelines
- Follow all company rules and certifications, including Alcohol Awareness, Food Handlers, and Safety
- Oversee the setup and service of every function
- Inspect event spaces for readiness
- Coordinate with Sales and Catering teams
- Respond promptly to guest needs and requests
- Handle all equipment and supplies with care
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of hotel or related experience
- High school diploma
- Strong communication skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Decision-making skills in fast-paced environments
- Ability to handle stress
- Maintain professionalism
- Show initiative
- Meet state alcohol certification requirements
- Comfortable with financial and data-related tasks
Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Minimum 1 year of hotel or related experience; supervisory experience preferred.
