Automotive Service Technician

About This Role

This role is for a skilled and motivated Automotive Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles, ensuring top performance and customer satisfaction. The technician will join a family-oriented environment that values tradition, innovation, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair and maintenance work listed on repair orders efficiently and accurately
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and HVAC
• Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to ensure proper operation and repair accuracy
• Communicate with Service Advisors regarding repair needs, timelines, and any additional required work
• Execute warranty repairs following manufacturer specifications and guidelines
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair abilities
• Proficient in using electronic diagnostic equipment and repair software
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician

Nice to Have

• Past experience with Bus and ADA compliant vehicles
• Ford certification
• Previous Experience In a Dealership Environment
