About This Role

Inspect vehicles, diagnose problems, and perform quality repairs and maintenance work as an Automotive Service Technician at City Volkswagen of Highland. This role requires versatility, good communication skills, and a positive team attitude.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles, diagnose problems, perform quality repairs and maintenance work
• Inspect and test-drive vehicles, test components and systems, use diagnostic tools and special service equipment to diagnose problems
• Provide estimate of time and parts needed for repair/maintenance
• Repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, and more
• Learn new information in training sessions
• Keep shop neat and account for dealership owned tools

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record
• Positive attitude
• Team participant
• Versatile in skills and tasks performed
• Good communication and customer service skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Automotive service/repair technician experience is preferred

Nice to Have

• Automotive service/repair technician experience
• VW / Audi certified
