About This Role

Join a well-established law firm in New York as an experienced Family Law Attorney. This role involves independently managing client matters, contributing to a collaborative team, and working with diverse clientele.

Responsibilities

• Handle a full range of family law matters, including Divorce, Child custody and visitation, Child and spousal support, Equitable distribution
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, memoranda, and other court submissions
• Provide proactive, strategic, and empathetic client counseling throughout all stages of representation
• Appear in court for conferences, hearings, and other related proceedings as required
• Manage cases independently while working cohesively with attorneys and staff

Requirements

• Active New York Bar admission
• 5–10 years of demonstrated family law experience
• Strong drafting, writing, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain strong client relationships
• Confident courtroom presence with experience handling contested matters
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
