The Associate Energy Acquisition Analyst assists with the design, testing, implementation, and ongoing performance of operational processes and systems for Retail Electric Suppliers, Customer Self Managers, Metering Service Providers, and General Account Agents to enroll retail customers in choice programs. This role also supports GAA processes, retail customer billing analyses, and delivery of historical usage data.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the design, testing, implementation, documentation, and ongoing performance of daily operational processes and systems for RESs, CSMs, MSPs, and GAAs to enroll retail customers in retail choice programs and tariffs.
- Perform daily processes related to retail customer enrollment and GAA activities.
- Conduct retail customer billing analyses resulting from market participant inquiries.
- Assist with the design, testing, implementation, documentation, and ongoing performance of daily operational processes and systems for preparing and delivering historical retail customer usage data.
- Support other Analysts in the Department with day-to-day responsibilities and other organizations with strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Knowledge of mainframe systems (Customer Information Systems) and PJM internet-based system
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop/prepare and produce accurate reports by extracting data from computer files or databases
- Ability to work in a self-managed, dynamic, sometimes ambiguous work environment
- High level of ethics and professionalism
- Demonstrated skills in data analysis
Qualifications
- 4-year degree in business or technical field or equivalent relevant experience
- 0-2 years of experience with a 4-year degree, or 1-3 years of relevant experience without a degree.

- Familiarity with wholesale electricity marketplace and PJM business rules
