Serve as Associate Counsel for Ivy Rehab Network, focusing on corporate, regulatory, transaction, and complex contract matters within the healthcare landscape. This role supports various departments and affiliated entities, contributing to a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in corporate and transactional matters and review/negotiate routine and complex contracts for Ivy Rehab Network and its entities.
- Review, revise, and counsel on the legal implications of rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Prepare, negotiate, draft, and review complex contracts and legal documents.
- Participate in the preparation and provision of educational programs on pertinent topics for teammates.
- Review applicable legislation and case law to support the General Counsel.
- Participate in Ivy Rehab committees and working groups.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree
- 5+ years experience in corporate and transactional health law
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures
- Knowledge of, and experience with, relevant state and federal healthcare law and regulations (anti-kickback, self-referral, licensing and reimbursement)
- Strong leadership skills
- Effective project management skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and research skills
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree required.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in corporate and transactional health law.
Nice to Have
- Experience with financing and investment transactions, private equity, and similar for-profit healthcare entities and transactions
