Assistant Vitamin/HBA Manager

About This Role

Manage and lead the Vitamin/HBA department, ensuring excellent customer service and product quality. This role involves ordering, inventory control, and team supervision to maximize productivity and profit.

Responsibilities

• Manage and merchandise the department for maximum productivity and profit
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Vitamin/HBA team
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through ongoing planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork
• Lead a team to deliver the finest quality of product, highest level of service, and greatest experience for customers
• Ensure customers receive the best possible service and assistance with vitamins, supplements, and health and beauty products
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of vitamins, supplements, and other health and body items in the department
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, developing, mentoring, and motivating the Vitamin team
• Unload and sort through store deliveries
• Ensure the execution of all company health, safety, and sanitation guidelines/regulations

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Minimum of 1 year of vitamin, homeopathy, or holistic experience with leadership duties
• Dependable and reliable, ability to work flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays)
• Outgoing and friendly behavior, positive attitude, and ability to interact with customers
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to lift, stack and maneuver heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs
• Ability to move a ladder to access product needing a force up to 5 lbs
• Ability to maneuver a utility cart holding 20 lbs needing a force up to 35 lbs
• Ability to walk up to 3 miles in an 8-hour shift

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of vitamin, homeopathy, or holistic experience with leadership duties
