Assist the Store Manager in overseeing all daily store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Provide leadership, guidance, and training to staff to meet sales, service, and operational objectives.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and welfare of employees and customers
- Create and maintain an excellent customer shopping experience by reinforcing service level standards
- Provide service training and leadership to staff members
- Manage customer issues with urgency and to customer satisfaction
- Handle all POS terminal transactions including sales, discounts, refunds, and loyalty programs
- Perform inventory control responsibilities like shipping, receiving, price management, and physical inventory
- Execute sales floor merchandising and visual presentation according to company standards
- Manage payroll control, including scheduling and budget compliance
- Train and develop direct reports by utilizing training tools and reinforcing operational standards
- Adhere to all Loss Prevention policies and procedures for company asset protection
Requirements
- Approved background check
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Managerial and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills for customer and employee interactions
- Strong visual merchandising skills
- Working knowledge of footwear, accessories, and shoe care
- Basic mathematical skills
- Knowledge of Corporate and Store Operations policies and procedures
- Complete understanding of store presentation standards
