The Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing shifts, and coaching employees through training and development. This role focuses on maintaining effective operations across people management, sales goals, and profitability while ensuring quality customer service.
Responsibilities
- Manage and run shifts effectively
- Coach and train employees for optimal performance
- Ensure overall operational effectiveness focusing on people, sales, and profit
- Stand for extensive periods, bend, reach, twist, turn, and climb ladders
- Perform a variety of jobs at a rapid pace for extended periods
- Work in an environment with temperature fluctuations
- Maintain regular, predictable attendance
- Understand and follow directions
- Lift very heavy objects with or without assistance
