Assistant Manager

About This Role

Lead and manage the daily operations of a Braum's restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, food quality, and team development. This role is crucial for maximizing sales and implementing company policies to achieve unit goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and provide leadership to the store crew members
• Maximize store sales through customer satisfaction and food quality
• Oversee daily operations of food service, grocery market, and fountain sales
• Actively participate in monitoring inventory and supply levels, kitchen equipment, safety, and cleanliness
• Ensure Braum's store policies and practices are implemented and followed accordingly

Requirements

• 2 years of experience as Assistant Restaurant Manager or Food Service Supervisor
• Retail Management experience
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid Driver License
• Customer focus
• Strong work ethic with high standard for integrity
• Positive approach to training, developing, and interacting with all levels of the store team
• Ability to build a successful team by building an environment of trust
• Ability to adapt to customer and employee needs as well as store environment conditions
• Ability to communicate effectively with leadership team members
• Ability to identify the most effective team alignment to enhance performance
• Follow-up and follow through with discipline
• Ability to initiate action and achieve goals
• Organized, detailed, and able to follow practices/procedures
• Able to review, understand, and analyze reporting results

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
• 2 years of experience as Assistant Restaurant Manager or Food Service Supervisor, or Retail Management experience
