About This Role

Assist the store manager in daily operations of a State Liquor Store, including staff delegation, customer service, record keeping, and inventory management.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the manager with all aspects of the operations of a State Liquor Store
  • Delegate work assignments
  • Provide superior customer service
  • Maintain employee leave and payroll records
  • Receive and fill orders for licensees
  • Perform cashiering duties
  • Assist customers in finding products, making selections and purchasing items
  • Resolve potential confrontational issues appropriately when dealing with intoxicated individuals, shoplifters, etc.
  • Help ensure staff is trained to prohibit sales to minors

Requirements

  • Management experience in a fast-paced retail store
  • Capable of bringing out the best in their employees
  • Ability to ensure that customers receive excellent service
  • A strong work ethic
  • Able to lift 50 pounds on a continuous basis
  • At least 21 years old
  • Successfully pass a background check
