Serve as an assistant football coach, supervising and teaching student-athletes the fundamentals, rules, and strategies of the sport. Maintain team discipline and moral standards while ensuring compliance with NCAA and conference regulations.
Responsibilities
- Teach and coach student-athletes in Football fundamentals and performance
- Supervise and schedule team activities
- Maintain team discipline and moral standards
- Instruct student-athletes in physical health, team concepts, and safety
- Design individual or team instructions for athletic needs
- Understand and adhere to sports rules, compliance regulations, and conference recruiting policies
- Develop rapport with community and university personnel
- Adhere to NCAA and conference bylaws
- Report all NCAA and conference violations to proper personnel
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Kinesiology or related field
- 4+ years professional coaching experience in football
- Thorough understanding of sports rules, compliance regulations, and conference recruiting rules
- Knowledge of all NCAA and conference rules
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Kinesiology or related field
- Minimum of four years professional coaching experience in respective sport
