Assembly Operator

About This Role

Assemble products, parts, or materials using hand tools, jigs, fixtures, adhesives, and fasteners according to specific standards and production schedules. Operate equipment safely and monitor quality points, reporting concerns to the supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned equipment or tools safely in accordance with company and OSHA safety programs and rules
• Perform work in accordance to approved procedures and work instructions
• Monitor Quality Points at work station and record required data
• Report quality and production concerns and issues to Supervisor
• Cross train on all work stations within department
• Conduct operator level preventative maintenance on all assigned tools, jigs and fixtures according to the Preventative Maintenance Schedule
• Keep work environment neat and clean

Requirements

• Ability to use a large variety of hand tools
• Basic knowledge of power tools

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
• 0+ years of previous assembly experience

• Basic proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
• Basic analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management, and planning skills
• Basic verbal and written communication skills
• Basic understanding and application of mathematical concepts
• Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues
• Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work overtime
