This role is for a Registered Nurse Level I on the Acute Care for the Elderly Unit (ACE)/Alternate Level of Care Unit (ALC), providing direct patient care, completing a nursing practice orientation program, and collaborating with a team to enhance patient care outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to assigned patients utilizing the nursing process
- Support peers in the delivery of patient care services in an organized manner
- Prioritize safety and team collaboration and communication
- Contribute to unit activities that enhance patient care outcomes
Requirements
- Licensed by New York State to practice as a Registered Nurse
- Current CPR certification (American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare providers)
Qualifications
- BS in Nursing preferred, or Associate Degree (AD) in Nursing
- Six months of clinical experience or less post licensure
