Armed Healthcare Patrol Security Officer

About This Role

Serve and safeguard clients in a healthcare setting as an Armed Security Officer by conducting routine patrols, monitoring activity, and responding to security-related incidents, while ensuring a visible presence and respectful customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, donors, visitors, and/or staff by following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and post orders in a healthcare setting
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter, monitoring for unusual activity and helping to deter prohibited behavior
• Control access to the facility by checking identification, managing authorized entry points, and directing individuals to appropriate departments and waiting areas
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site leadership and/or emergency services as needed
• Complete security-related reports and logs, document incident details, and communicate shift activity to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts

Requirements

• Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit
• Be 21+ Years of Age
• Maintain Act 235 Qualification in Pennsylvania Only
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
