Armed Government Patrol Security Officer

About This Role

As an Armed Government Patrol Security Officer, you will safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling designated government areas to deter security incidents. This role involves both armed and driving responsibilities, ensuring a secure environment through routine patrols and exceptional communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help deter unauthorized access.
• Maintain detailed reports and logs of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences.
• Interact professionally with staff, visitors, and members of the public, providing assistance as needed.
• Enforce site policies and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and client instructions.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies and security-related incidents as required.
• Operate communication devices to relay information and coordinate with Allied Universal team members.
• Participate in ongoing training to maintain required certifications and proficiency in security-related procedures.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
