Area Manager

About This Role

Lead and develop a team of hourly employees within an Amazon operations building, focusing on motivation, mentorship, and performance to meet operational goals.

Responsibilities

• Engage, lead, and develop a team of hourly employees in a warehouse environment
• Motivate, mentor, and manage teams to meet goals
• Ensure team has tools needed to succeed and maintain highest levels of safety, quality, attendance and performance
• Support, mentor and motivate 50-100 direct report Amazon Associates
• Work independently and operate in an autonomous environment
• Stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours
• Regularly work shift patterns that include nights, weekends, and/or holidays based on business needs
• Oversee truck deliveries, handle and sort packages using pallet jacks, operate PIT equipment

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree completed between May 2024 and August 2026
• Work authorization without employer intervention

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with all requirements completed between May 2024 and August 2026
• Entry level position, recent and upcoming graduates

Nice to Have

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Currently enrolled in or graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or another related field
