Area Human Resources Manager

About This Role

Lead HR operations for an Area within Securitas Group, ensuring compliance with company and Region HR policies. Partner with the Area Vice President and mentor Branch HR personnel, while handling performance investigations and financial controls for HR-related costs.

Responsibilities

• Manage Human Resources (HR) for an Area
• Implement and audit compliance with company and Region HR policies
• Serve as a Business partner for the Area Vice President
• Coach and mentor Branch HR personnel in carrying out compliant HR programs and resolving issues
• Conduct Performance Investigations
• Provide representation at hearings on HR matters
• Provide financial controls for costs related to Workers Compensation, Benefits, Unemployment and Hiring

Requirements

• 3+ years in a HR Manager capacity
• Strong understanding of Federal and State laws
• Experience dealing with union environments
• Recruitment experience
• Employee Relations experience, including Union related experience
• Management experience with direct reports
• Computer literacy
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 3 years’ experience in a HR Manager capacity
