APP-Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant, Internal Medicine

About This Role

Deliver care and empower health for patients as an APP in Internal Medicine, working collaboratively with physicians and a robust network of partner providers. This role involves performing patient examinations, ordering diagnostics, prescribing medication, and providing patient education.

Responsibilities

• Practice at the top of your license and form trusting relationships under the direct supervision of collaborating physicians
• Gain increased autonomy and independence in decision making with support from collaborating physicians
• Impact care delivery and patient satisfaction by having a voice in clinical decisions
• Develop a relationship and partnership with physicians, clinical staff, and management
• Join a collaborative team and participate in a structured training program including orientation, shadowing, and onboarding
• Complete patient examinations and treatment
• Order diagnostic and therapeutic modalities
• Prescribe medication
• Provide patient and family education
• Complete documentation

Requirements

• Graduation from an approved school for Physician Assistant Or Nurse Practitioner-Masters Degree
• Licensed or ability to obtain licensure in the state of Illinois
• Previous experience in Internal Medicine
