Analytics Engineer

About This Role

This contract Analytics Engineer role involves consolidating and modeling customer data from multiple systems into a unified customer record. The ideal candidate will support key analytics initiatives during a critical project acceleration period and temporary team coverage.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain analytics-ready data models in Snowflake using dbt, ensuring clean, reliable, and well-documented datasets
• Integrate data from multiple customer systems into a unified customer view and define source-of-truth logic for key attributes
• Develop and maintain ELT pipelines using modern ingestion tools (e.g., Fivetran) to support downstream analytics and reporting
• Implement testing, monitoring, and documentation to ensure accuracy and reliability of data assets
• Work closely with a Senior Analytics Engineer to divide ownership of project components and deliver results efficiently

Requirements

• Approximately 5 years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or related roles
• Strong SQL skills
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake
• Hands-on experience with dbt
• Experience with modern ingestion tools such as Fivetran
• Ability to work primarily during Eastern Time business hours

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Approximately 5 years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or related roles

Nice to Have

• Experience working with customer or operational datasets
• Exposure to AI or data activation tools (e.g., Hightouch or similar)
• Experience building source-of-truth or master-data-style models
